Maarten Engeltjes & PRJCT Amsterdam aim at 2023 the timeless music of G.B. Pergolesi and Antonio Vivaldi with soprano Shira Patchornik to be recorded and released with the label Pentatone. For this, we need your support!
The album is formed around Pergolesi's well-known and beloved Stabat Mater (1736), in which Mary at the foot of the cross mourns her son Jesus. Also the wonderful Nisi dominus by Vivaldi - with the moving Cum dederit about fate - will be included.
